We’re all looking forward to the new WordPress version, namely 2.3 (two point three). It is due 24th of September, and here is what Lorelle compiled about it. Another resource is here, telling us when to upgrade.
Moreover, I found some cheatsheets, one on WordPress 2.0 Plugin API, and one on WordPress Themes. They may be outdated as 2.3 introduces some new functions and deprecates other, but it’s still a solid base to start. Another one documents the functions.

I’m afraid, Chip, that these cheatsheets are loosing their freshness right now – with WP 2.3 some things changes, and for example the database scheme is not more up-to-date. I will mention it in my summarizing article soon.
